Why did you decide to sell?
We decided to leave Fairfax County and move to a quieter setting. We wanted to enjoy the peace and serenity that comes when you step outside of the hustle and bustle of a bigger city. We were ready to relax!
How did Robyn prepare your home to sell and how did you feel she marketed your home?
She hired a photographer who took some excellent photos of our home and wooded setting. She was also realistic about price suggestions which we really appreciated.
Robyn showed real skill in staging while appreciating what we strongly felt were the benefits of our home. I can't say enough good things about the photos and the fact that she had a colorful brochure prepared. She also had a great digital presence as well.

Best part of your experience?
Robyn's particular skill of being calm in her negotiation of price and terms was the best part for me. It was great to have someone to keep us and everyone involved calm but also be able to firmly negotiate on our behalf. It's so necessary for homeowners to have someone like that on their side.
Were there stressful moments or things you were concerned about?
I think in almost any real estate transaction you're bound to have a stressful moment or two. So yes, there were many stressful moments or moments that could have been even more stressful, but Robyn remained calm and level-headed. She took care of everything for us so we never had to worry.
Lucy's Advice to You
Have your agent prepare a competitive market analysis and continue to follow the dispositions of those properties. I can't express enough how important it is to have an experienced Realtor negotiating on your behalf whether you're a buyer or a seller.
